Spring break is here and you know what that means- BIKINI SEASON will be in full force. I’m so excited to share that I’ve been asked to be a swimwear fit specialist ambassador for SwimSpot. I never would have thought in a million years that I would be modeling swimsuits to help other women in finding a suit for their body. I’m so glad that there are brands like SwimSpot that encourage us to love our bodies no matter what size or shape we are! As an ambassador, I will be sharing some tips in finding a swimsuit for you.
After having a baby, the struggle was real on trying to lose the pregnancy weight. I learned that it took 9 months to grow a little human, it’s going to take that much time to get back to where I was pre-baby. My body has definitely changed and that’s ok. I’ve worked really hard on trying to stop comparing myself to others. Instead, I’m focusing on being healthy and strong, and it will be a never-ending journey.
Let’s end body shaming and continue to support other women’s bodies as we are faced with what media tells us on how we should look, and that’s not being a size 2. Cheers to rolls, cellulite and imperfections- well all have them, including Chrissy Teigan. (Love that she shares her cellulite pics with us!)
Here, I’m wearing the socialite saga cold shoulder wrap maillot one-piece from LUXE by Lisa Vogel. One-pieces have become such a staple in my swimsuit wardrobe. This suit looks so classy on and love how you can even throw on some pants and wear it as a bodysuit for sunset cocktail hour. It’s uber comfortable and I like that the built-in cups is supportive in the top area. Nothing is worse than feeling so constricted that you can’t move. Every woman should own a black one-piece!
Stay tuned for more with SwimSpot. If I can share one tip with you, that is to shop for a swimsuit that accentuates your body, instead of going with what the trend is at the current moment.
If you’re in the Honolulu area, be sure to visit a SwimSpot store at Ala Moana Shopping Center.
