I don’t know what it is with Kaia these days, all she wants to do is eat snacks! When it comes to sitting in her highchair for a meal, it literally is a struggle. I had to google this to see if this was normal toddler behavior and it sure was. (They are claiming their independence right now supposedly…) Ok, now when will this phase end, because I want to pull my hair out when it comes to meal time?! Do any of you other mama’s have this problem? If so, what are some of your tips and tricks to make your toddler eat? Please share with me.
Since she will run to me for snacks instead of meals, I make sure I pack healthy, nutritious snacks when it comes to our daily adventure. Lately, I’ve been using these reusable snack bags from Dr. Brown’s and love that they come in three different sizes- small, medium and large. They are lightweight, water-resistant, freezer safe and dishwasher safe! It has a unique open and close re-sealable closure, and even stays upright. I love using the smallest one for blueberries or apple slices, the medium for little cookies or crackers and the biggest one, I can put tiny sandwiches in. It’s perfect for the day and I don’t have to go through a million ziplock bags anymore. It’s perfect for the environment and no more wasted ziplock bags. I love love these bags and highly recommend them. They are great for the beach and won’t get your snacks soggy from getting wet. Trust me- I’ve tried and tested these! 🙂
Tomorrow is Kaia’s 2nd birthday and I can’t wait to surprise her at school with cupcakes for her and her friends. We all know she will eat that before a meal.. Ha!
