Children’s Washable Rug: Lorena Canals | Organic Baby Rattles: Estella | Dock: DockATot (Deluxe)| Kaia’s outfit/bow: Baby Gap

Kaia’s 6-month check-up is next week and I’m dying to see how much she weighs and how tall she’s gotten. Every day I’m seeing something new she does and it’s crazy to see the progress of her growth just by looking at photos from a few months ago. Just last week we were doing stuff around the house and we took our eyes off of her for 5 seconds, and she had rolled over and was almost at the edge of the bed. It was the first time she’d ever done that and scared us. She moves all over the place now and sticks everything in her mouth!

For the past few days, we’ve been putting her in a DockATot- that is this amazing, multi-functional dock that you can take anywhere. It’s perfect for lounging, playing, chilling, resting, tummy time, changing, bonding, bed transitioning and great for parents that travel often with a baby. We feel so much better that we can have her lounge in this while she’s playing if we have to get up to go do something really quick with the ease of knowing she’s safe and snug.

She really likes being in her DockATot to play with her toys and as parents; we feel it’s such a great little safe haven for her. Since she’s been putting everything and anything in her mouth, we have been giving her organic, eco-friendly baby toys that are plush and soft so we don’t have to worry about anything hard hitting her head or eyes. We love the organic baby rattles (GOTS certified organic) from Estella, which is a super chic, high-end designer baby and children’s boutique in NYC. All the rattles pictured here with Kaia are from their new Spring Collection. I love that hot sauce and Popsicle rattle! Ha!

For you newbie parents like us or parents that have it down to the T, I highly recommend these two products for your little baby. The DockATot comes in two sizes- Deluxe (Ages 0-8 months) and Grand (9-36 months). They even make great gifts for a future baby mama-to-be’s. My sister is pregnant with her first, so I’m sharing everything that I can’t live without and these are on the top of the list!

What kind of toys do you guys let your babies play with? Do you let them play on a mat or pack-n-play? I always want to learn what works for other parents out there! Share with us…
