We got our beautiful tree and decorations from Balsam Hill and believe it or not, it’s my first artificial tree. I’ve always heard the best things about Balsam Hill and so happy that I was able to finally get one. Even though I love the smell of pine, I do not miss the falling pines and having it die before Christmas.
For resort destinations like this, I love a good resort wear piece for both Kaia and I, and even better if it’s a one-stop shop for mommy! When it comes to shopping, I love online shopping vs. in-store shopping. Shopping with a toddler is never fun for me and I hardly get the time to do it alone. Pink Colony has the largest selection of Lilly Pulitzer in the state of Vermont (Stowe, VT), but they also have an online store, which is amazing. You can find brands like Lilly, Hunter Boots, Jack Rogers, etc. for both women and children.
In preparation for back-to-school, we were so honored to be interviewed by Childrensalon, which is one the best children’s designer online retailer that we love shopping from. They carry brands like Chloe, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry and Kenzo. Checkout the interview here and be sure to tell us how you like it on our instagram post!
Hands down, Whistler Blackcomb is one of the best ski resorts for families. It’s a place that I continuously want to keep coming back to and make family traditions- it was that special! Not only does it have a mix of terrain for all ages, it has a huge apres ski scene, five-star spas and a village to “WOW” anyone.. Here are the best reasons to head to Canada for your next family ski vacation:
If you’ve been following my insta stories, you know how addicted I am of Aimee Song’s (Song of Style) raw bars! OH EM GEE they are delicious and a healthy snack too. I make them often, but with a toddler, I can’t be watching her whole YouTube video on it every single time I want to make them. (I love my girl to pieces, but mama is on a time crunch) I just want to know step-by-step what I need and what I need to do, because I have a foggy mommy brain.
When I married Kenji almost 6 years ago, we decided not to have a lavish wedding ceremony and instead, we opted to elope and travel to South America for a whole month. It was the best decision we could have made! My only regret… there was never any wedding photos to show our future kids.
After celebrating our 5-year anniversary this past December and with a beautiful daughter, Kaia who will be 2 next month, I wanted to surprise him with a special vow renewal. We planned a getaway to Kauai (we stayed at Kuku’iula and it was one of the most amazing places!) for an early Father’s Day trip and I decided to surprise him then. I wanted this to be as intimate and special as possible with just the three of us. There was no fancy resort. No fancy dress. No upgraded ring. Just us surrounded by love and something we will remember for a lifetime with our daughter.
