Ever since Cindy of Island Fever Sisters got engaged, the planning of her destination wedding was in the works. While everyone lives so far, the bridal shower made sense to take place the day before the big day while everyone was in town. The theme of Cindy’s bridal shower was beach chic. It was perfect to play around with the luxurious elements of the gorgeous Four Seasons Hualalai resort, which played a huge role in the design and style. Her matron of honor and sister, Kathy of Island Fever Sisters and Four Seasons Hualalai events team wanted to create something that was beautiful, chic and fun. Twenty guests celebrated the bride-to-be in a beach chic party designed in geometric black and white, mixed with greens, pops of hot pink and assortment of colors from her flower crown bar.

The stationery featured was a design of green leaf palms from Paperless Post that played with the theme and style. With everyone living across the globe, it was a great way to send invitations via online, which made it easy to communicate with everyone for the event. Invitations can get so costly too, that this was an area to save cost on and spend elsewhere (Less than $20). Paperless Post collaborates with leading fashion and lifestyle designers, including Kate Spade, Oscar de la Renta, Jonathan Adler and more.

As many brides wear white to their bridal shower, Cindy was asked to wear something beach chic. She wore a beautiful white laced, crochet cover up from Italian fashion designer, Flavia Padovan. Many of the guests wore bright, resort wear attire that looked beautiful against the piercing blue ocean.

All the guests sipped on mimosas, while a light breakfast was set up on the beach. We didn’t want anything formal, so we had white leather lounge furniture on the beach with umbrellas, large round beach towels from Beach LuLu and splashes of pink pillows from Kate Spade. To make it even more personal, The Stationery Studio customized all her cups and napkins read #alohapearlsteins with a printed palm tree adding a nice personal touch. “C” initial topped coconut cupcakes were another element of the shower that made it special.

After everyone got a bite to eat, they made their way to the flower crown station, which was a huge hit. Flowers by Heidi did such a wonderful job and the customized chalkboard writings she incorporated were such a lovely touch. Everyone got to be creative to make their own floral crowns and wear to the luau party that night.

For the favors, I wanted to give everyone something the bride loves. Each guest got to leave with a little aloha from Kai fragrance (our favorite scent that reminds us of a little piece of Hawaii) for the celebratory shower and a Sheswai nail polish in pale pink.

Special Thank you to all involved in making this so special for Cindy!
