I don’t know about you, but I’m loving everything fringe this season! When we went on our month long trip in the cold, I couldn’t resist wearing these fringe boots from Manitobah. They are the buffalo dancer mukluk (Aboriginal word for winter boot) found here. They were so warm and uber comfortable with three layers of eye-catching fringe. The foot lining is made from sheepskin shearling that kept my feet so warm and toasty. Since the outer is made from Cowhide Suede, you might want to use protective suede spray if worn in wet weather.
You can wear these with jeans, leggings, skirts and dresses! The look is endless and love that they slip on and off so easily without having to deal with any laces, which can make it such a pain sometimes.
I love that it’s a fashionable; aboriginal owned company that supports other aboriginal owned businesses throughout Canada and celebrates the artistry of their ancestors combined with modern Vibram soles for high performance in the elements of everyday life.
If you’re unfamiliar with Vibram, they are the world leader in high-performance rubber soles that make walking so comfortable and can withstand the effects of urban environments.
These come in 3 different colors: Copper, Charcoal or Black. They do recommend wearing one full size down as the Vibram soles tend to fit big.
Checkout more of their fab boots here. Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford are among the celebs that have been seen wearing these!
