Hawaii isn’t known for high couture fashion, other than the lineup of luxury row boutiques, but what they are known for is fab island chic wear. Last night, I was invited to the VIP event for Honolulu Fashion Week that officially kicked off debuting The “Live Aloha” runway show for its first time ever. With local designer Sig Zane, along with others who collaborated with New York-based line, Saturdays Surf NYC, it was an event that many local Hawaii designers have long anticipated for.

Take a peek at some of the new and upcoming designers from Hawaii making international waves in the fashion community. What a great event and glad to be a part of this special night.
