Last week my closest girlfriends flew to Oahu to throw me the most amazing baby shower for Kaia at The Royal Hawaiian, aka The Pink Palace (Pink themed baby shower for our baby girl). It’s always a challenge for people to come to Hawaii, because it can be such a costly trip, especially just for the weekend. Let’s just say I was on cloud 9 having all of my girlfriends and little sister in town to celebrate such an exciting time. The ambiance was gorgeous and very much my style- it was a relaxed, tropical setting in two large cabanas filled with bottomless pink champagne and a divine assortment of pupus.
We played a few games and winners got a pink coco palm pouch from Aloha Collection– my new must-have wet/dry bag. There was also a DIY perfume making area from Ka-Mil-Yin, which was a HUGE hit at the shower. I highly recommend this to anyone having a baby or bridal shower! There were a variety of 10 perfume oils and all of my guests were able mix and match to their own liking and take it home in their custom ‘Sweet Baby Kaia’ roll-on perfume bottle. Not only did they leave smelling good, they also got to pick a pink colored nail polish from LAQA&CO and chocolate body scrub from Zenziva (Thank you, LeeMyra for bringing these from Maui). Love that everyone got to leave feeling pampered!
Huge thank you to Nicole and Tricia for flying out and throwing me this unforgettable shower- I’m so grateful for girlfriends like you! It was a day surrounded by so much love… Now, the countdown begins for the arrival of Baby Kaia.
