With the frigid cold setting in, we love a great hydrated lipstick with intense color. Estee Lauder just launched their Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipsticks ($30 & 31 various shades) several months ago and we are huge fans of the rich pigment and hydrated formula. It comes in the sleek, square, navy and gold tube with a magnetic closure and surprised that it doesn’t have the traditional fig scent they are known for.
We love how the colors gave our lips a statement look. It’s medium to full coverage and makes lips appear fuller too! (Anything that makes lips look fuller without lip injections is always a plus, haha!) Sometimes creamy lipsticks tend to feel heavy on the lips where it’s uncomfortable, happy to say that these don’t feel a bit heavy at all and so soft and smooth on the lips. Hours later, the color was still on even having a few cups of coffee which is always great. Who wants to keep reapplying lipstick every hour of the day? Not us…
Pictured wearing below are 4 colors:
Tumultuous Pink (Awarded Best of Beauty 2014 Allure)- a bright-pink fuchsia that is vibrant with cool undertones.
Impulsive– a warm-toned pink with yellow undertones.
Impassioned– a bright vibrant orange-red, with warm undertones.
Dominant– a vibrant fuchsia with blue undertones.
Kathy wore these without a lip liner and just used a lip brush to outline the lip. With brighter colors, you don’t need a whole lot of eye makeup, as your lip does all the talking. These are great lipsticks that offer a classic statement lip and love how they kept our lipstick on for hours without the drying of the lips that usually come with long-lasting lip colors. Although the price can be steep for some ($30), it’s also worth it if it can make a smaller lip appear fuller, long-lasting, hydrated and giving you the ultimate perfect pout.
Have you tried any of these? They are lips to evny for sure…
