I’m so excited to share our recent trip to Jackson Hole and the National Parks we visited, Grand Teton and Yellowstone. After a 5-hour drive from Salt Lake City, we arrived at the stunning Four Seasons Jackson Hole Resort. I loved that the staff greeted us in western outfits and cowboy hats upon arrival. We easily got checked-in and immediately felt at home for the week with the exceptional level of service Four Seasons is known for, but beyond if that’s even possible.
Our luxurious room was jaw-dropping with its panoramic views of the valley and love that it came with its own fireplace for those toasty mornings and/or nights. The bathroom was enormous with its own separate shower and bath, which is always great for families to make getting ready easier for dinner. I love that Kaia got a kids amenity that she absolutely loved… a kite and a pair of binoculars for our day adventures in the park. Each room is equipped with an iPad to schedule anything from housekeeping, dinner reservations to in-room dining. My husband really appreciated this hi-tech feature of the room.
Although we came in the beginning of the fall, Four Seasons Jackson Hole Resort is one of the best luxury ski hotels in the world with its Forbes 5-star rating and the only ski in / ski out in Teton Village. The interior is a luxury rustic feel with animal printed fabrics, beautiful chandeliers, cozy furniture and fireplace to immensely make you feel you’re in the heart of the American West.
I love that Four Seasons Jackson Hole has some great dining on property like Westbank Grill and The Handle Bar, a Michael Mina restaurant. We ate at Westbank Grill every morning for breakfast. A must order is their huevos rancheros and Kaia loved their chocolate chip pancakes. Their green energy fresh juice is a great for anyone that loves a green juice in the mornings like I do. The Handle Bar is an excellent family lunch or dinner option that shouldn’t be missed. Some of the best things to order is the handle bar pretzel (most delicious thing ever!), elk nachos, cherry ‘bomb’ burger, handle burger and spicy Korean Wagyu tacos. (Yes, we ate here often, Ha!)

Traveling with Kaia is so fun and love seeing the world through her eyes. I really appreciated that they had a kids play room next door to The Handle Bar restaurant, so we often came here to play after meal times. They had a large flat screen tv to play movies, games, pool and foosball table. One of the days we were there, the weather hit 80 degrees, so we got to swim in their outdoor heated pool which was really fun to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The aspen trees are really beautiful out here!
I made an appointment at the Spa at Four Seasons Jackson Hole to get an Oxygen Facial by Heather. It was the most amazing Oxygen facial I’ve ever received, and I’ve had these many times before. My skin went from alligator skin to a dewy dumpling. Traveling can cause major havoc on the skin! Basically, it helps promote natural collagen and elastin production, improving skin texture while visibly smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. Heather is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend seeing her if you ever make it to Jackson. If you want to see a step-by-step video of the Oxygen Facial by Heather, you can view my saved instagram stories and click ‘Wyoming’. My skin looked flawless for a week that I didn’t even need to wear any makeup. It was that amazing… (Guests staying at FS Jackson Hole are welcomed to use the facilities)
Coming to a new place that we’ve never visited before, we really relied on FS Jackson Hole concierge staff to help plan our days within Grand Teton National Park. They were so helpful in customizing our day specifically to our family. My husband and I last minute decided we wanted to ride in a hot air balloon, a bucket list I’ve always wanted to do. Their concierge team found a babysitter on the whim to come to our room before sunrise the next morning to watch Kaia so that we could do this. (no kids under the age of 6 is allowed to do this) It was such an amazing experience and highly recommend doing this once in your life. The sky’s the limit with the team at Four Seasons Jackson Hole…
Grand Teton is just minutes away from FS Jackson Hole, but there was a ton of bear activity and they closed the road the entire time we were there. Instead, we just took the loop around which was great, because we passed through Jackson Hole Town Center. We got to experience a farmer’s market, do some shopping and explore the Old West charm of Jackson. The town of Jackson is about 20 minutes away from the hotel and the entrance to the park is about another 10 minutes or so. Being in Grand Teton National Park was absolutely magical. The Grand Tetons itself are so beautiful. We got to see so many animals like Elks, Pronghorns, Bisons, Horses, Bears, Cows, an Owl and Mooses to name a few.

With Yellowstone just 2.5 hours from FS Jackson Holel, it makes a great base for anyone wanting a luxury midwest safari experience. We can’t wait to come back in the winter for some world class skiing and Kaia go to her first year of ski school. We recommend Four Seasons Jackson Hole for a dreamy vacation that has been one of our most memorable vacations ever.
Thank you for following along with us on our adventures!
