Being two sisters who have lived and traveled the world (military brats and leisure), we have always made sure to spread the aloha spirit wherever we are. Aloha in the Hawaiian language means affection, peace, compassion and mercy. It’s also used when greeting or parting from someone.
When we found PROJECT ALOHA, a Hawaiian owned shirt company that spreads good vibes one shirt at a time, we immediately were fans! What better way than to actually wear it with a rad design…
Michael Paz (Pazzy), the owner, designs for various companies, including Rachel Roy. This all started with a Facebook experiment to create a new ALOHA themed tee every day. Whichever shirt got the most ‘LIKES,’ he turned them into shirts and started selling them all over the world, including retailers in South Korea and NYC. Click here to see more retailers.
The correct pronunciation of PROJECT in PROJECT ALOHA is not like how you’d say science ‘project’. It is as if you were to project kindness or project aloha.
Take a peek at Cindy and I both spreading aloha one shirt at a time from coast to coast, Hawaii and New York City!
