BABY, FASHION, LIFESTYLE
Now that I’ve been breastfeeding Kaia for 8 months, I’ve really had some practice at breastfeeding at home and in public. In the beginning, I was so terrified that I wouldn’t be able to find a private area for my hungry, screaming baby to breastfeed at. It was such a challenge in the beginning to find easy access everyday wearable clothing, without taking off my entire top. It was such a dilemma and frustrating doing this in a public bathroom and on top of a crying baby.
BABY, FASHION
The best thing about having a baby girl is that I get to play dress up with her. I have to admit, I now shop more for her than I do myself and I actually get so much more excitement out of it. I’m not so much into the princess type of stuff, but more edgy, fashion forward for Kaia. One of my ultimate favorite baby designer online stores is alexandalexa. They are the Net-a-Porter for under 14 as the global style destination for kids.
BABY
Last Sunday night on August 30th at 9:40 pm, we welcomed our beautiful Kaia Sage. She weighed 9 pounds, 1 ounces and 22 inches long. Yes, a big baby indeed and I did it vaginally without an epidural. (As my doctor keeps telling me, that’s huge bragging rights!) 😉
