We recently caught up with Swedish Native, Lisa Furuland, the creator of DockATot. You have probably seen this must-have multifunctional lounging dock in the homes of celebrities, magazines like Vogue and a huge social media following of this ultimate baby item. The DockATot is a lightweight pod designed to keep babies snug with a cocoon-like feeling to comfort and soothe them. As moms, this is one product that we swear by and yes, it’s worth every penny despite the cost. ($165-$290)
Finding the right stroller can be difficult. There are so many strollers out there that gear towards different lifestyles for families… The all-terrain, travel systems, full-size, urban city, jogging, umbrella, travel, etc. It always seems endless! Living in Honolulu, we wanted a stroller that was perfect for every day urban living that we could use for even traveling. We needed it to be lightweight, compact, reclined with a foot rest and large enough basket to store things.(umbrella stroller storage baskets are never big enough) After tons of research, we found one that was great for our lifestyle.
Two weeks after bringing Rhys home from the hospital we decided to bring on a baby nurse to help us take care of Rhys and show us everything we need to know about taking care of a baby. We were lucky to have this wonderful lady from Trinadad named Miss Trudy. One of the most important things Miss Trudy stressed was a routine for the baby especially in the evening so the baby gets into a rhythm and knows his bed time. She always said the three B’s would be our lifesaver in the evenings; bath, bottle and bed, and boy was she right!
