It’s been a year since we traveled to Italy and boy, I miss it!! The non-stop walking on cobble stone streets, daily consumption of gelato, endless amounts of pasta and wine, the list goes on… Ahh, can someone please transport me back?? While I’m reminiscing of this beautiful place, I rounded up the top best luxury places to stay that we got to experience while a month of being there.

Visiting the Amalfi Coast, there were so many areas that we wanted to experience, as they are all so different. One of the places that we had on our bucket list was Ravello, so we spent a few nights at this cute, quaint town. Ravello is the highest peak of the Amalfi Coast and offers jaw-dropping views of the entire coastline. It was a view that I had always dreamed about seeing one day…

After visiting Florence for the first time, I knew I wanted more of this city and fell in love instantly. We were supposed to go to our family home in Sardinia, but after staying on the Amalfi Coast for almost 10 days, I had my fair share of being at the beach. (I know, island life problems, right?!) Living in Hawaii where our beaches are the most beautiful in the world, my husband and I decided to cancel Sardinia and go back to Florence.

Il Salviatino is the perfect, lovebird Tuscan getaway that isn’t just for fairy-tales. This luxurious, restored 15th-century villa lies on the hillside of Fiesole, with stunning, panoramic views of Florence. Set in lush Italian Gardens with Florence’s Duomo seen in the distance, you feel like you’ve just arrived on set of a romantic, historic movie setting with a modern vibe. Overlooking one of the most breathtaking cities in the world, while sipping a chilled sparkling wine, it almost felt like a dream, it was purely so magical.
