Holiday Travel In Seattle

Holiday Travel In Seattle

We just got back home a few weeks ago and it’s been crazy busy ever since we got home. We were gone for 3 weeks and boy, we are so happy to be back home in warm weather! Traveling with a toddler for that long, living out of a suit case is tough. Kaia is such a great traveler, so it really helped when we traveled to 3 different cities. We started our first leg of the trip in Seattle to see my dad, then went to San Francisco to see my best friend and then finished our trip in Park City for a little ski and spa time. Kaia was over the cold and snow, all she kept wanting to do was take a bath. Haha! She didn’t like the snow flurries hitting her face and getting all bundled up. She is a true island baby for sure.

FRINGE BOOTS

FRINGE BOOTS

I don’t know about you, but I’m loving everything fringe this season! When we went on our month long trip in the cold, I couldn’t resist wearing these fringe boots from Manitobah. They are the buffalo dancer mukluk (Aboriginal word for winter boot) found here. They were so warm and uber comfortable with three layers of eye-catching fringe. The foot lining is made from sheepskin shearling that kept my feet so warm and toasty. Since the outer is made from Cowhide Suede, you might want to use protective suede spray if worn in wet weather.

HAPPY NEW YEAR- BACK HOME!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR- BACK HOME!!

Happy New Year everyone! I know I’m late in the game, but we just got back from our month long trip visiting our family and friends during the holidays and just now getting back into the swing of things! It was so nice to be in the cold for Christmas, but I think after a week of the brutal cold, I was over it. How do you guys do it with all those layers?? Ha! My thin blood couldn’t handle it.
