So as you can tell, I’ve been a little obsessed with the off the shoulder styles, especially in swimwear. I think it’s so fun and chic! Not only is the off the shoulder styles trending, but so is the chambray style and love this Splendid chambray bikini from SwimSpot. The material is super soft like how all Splendid clothing is like.
Spring break is here and you know what that means- BIKINI SEASON will be in full force. I’m so excited to share that I’ve been asked to be a swimwear ambassador for SwimSpot. I never would have thought in a million years that I would be modeling swimsuits to help other women in finding a suit for their body. I’m so glad that there are brands like SwimSpot that encourage us to love our bodies no matter what size or shape we are!
With summer, just right around the corner, I wanted to get a little serious about sun safety for our kids. Melanoma is the most dangerous type of skin cancer and it’s due to overexposure to ultraviolet light. It’s important to not only wear sunscreen, but to wear protective clothing for maximum protection.
We’ve been enjoying the Thanksgiving holidays at the new Four Seasons Oahu that just opened up with our family. It’s been such a great vacation and Kaia is having the time of her life being poolside and enjoying all the fun kid amenities the Four Seasons has to offer. (They have the best kid program btw!) While we are out in the sun most of the day, we have to be safe in the sun and protect our skin, especially little Kaia’s. She has extremely sensitive skin, so we always make sure she is constantly wearing sunscreen and additionally, we have her wearing a UV protective swimwear that goes even a step further for maximum protection.
We recently caught up with the gorgeous mom of two, surfer and swimwear designer, Malia Jones on an exclusive interview with Island Fever Sisters! It’s no surprise she started her own swimwear brand that defines her effortless style where she was inspired by her island upbringing and travels around the world. Read our special interview with Malia Jones on how this surfer-turned model is making waves in the swim world:
