We stayed at Fairmont Kea Lani on Maui last month and loved our little island getaway. The hotel is gorgeous with an oceanfront location and super kid-friendly. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with the warm, aloha hospitality that Hawaii is known for and each given a lei. The one thing that made the trip so special was the amazing service and staff at Fairmont Kea Lani. When we checked-in, they knew we had a toddler and gave Kaia a little whale stuffed animal. She was beaming from side-to-side! I’d say that was a good start to our vacation…
Our beautiful deluxe ocean view suite was stunning. One great thing about this property is that every room is a suite, so it makes traveling with families feel cozy instead of being confined into one room. (Hawaii’s only all-suite and villa oceanfront resort) They have a spacious lanai with seating area, large living space with mini bar, a bathroom with a huge tub/open shower, and most importantly a guest room with the comfiest bed. Oh, did I mention the gorgeous ocean view room?? It’s to die for. I would sit out there every morning, drink my coffee and bask in the views.

Every day we were at the pool enjoy watching Kaia swim like a fish. They have three swimming pools including an adults-only pool. The other two pools were connected by a 140-foot water slide and such a fun place to see every family having the time of their lives. We were lucky enough to be given a cabana for a few days to enjoy with our family, which includes a cooler with all of your favorite soft drinks and a fruit platter. The pool service station there has everything you need in case you forgot to pack your sunscreen, floaties, pool toys or even sunglasses. They’ve got you covered.

If you forgot your beachwear, they have the most beautiful boutique, called Le Surf Wailea that carries all of my favorite brands like Melissa Odabash, Letarte and Anne Sisteron. I would go in there every single day. Ahh, I was like a kid in candy store.
Just steps away from the villas, were a private, world-class stretch of beach that you could also lounge on the property’s chair and umbrellas for the day. We liked to come in the mornings and sunset time to enjoy listening to the sounds of the ocean.
I’m wearing Letarte Button Front Caftan.// Kaia wearing Rachel Riley Sunglass Jersey Dress.
The Fairmont Kea Lani has some of the best restaurants on property where you don’t even need to leave the resort. For breakfast, we ate at the Kea Lani restaurant and it was so good. (order their fresh juices!) For dinner, we would start off at LUANA for pau hana (happy hour) and make our way to one of their amazing restaurants, Kō and Nick’s Fishmarket. I highly recommend them both as we left feeling so satisfied every night.

If you’re ever considering to visit the Wailea area on Maui, I highly recommend staying here as we enjoyed our stay so much! Thank you Fairmont Kea Lani and to the staff, you made our trip so memorable.
